Bill Sharpe is the founder and creator of SOHOTAMPA.COM. Living in SOHO since 2001. Having been a Bay area resident for many years, he was a customer at Bella's when they first opened. Frequently he could be found at Boneshakers in Old Hyde Park as well. Past accomplishments include: Former Chairman of the Pinellas County Democratic Party, Pinellas Campaign Chairman of the John Glenn for President Campaign, Former VP of Tampa Bay Ad Club 2, Former Treasurer of the Tampa International Trade Council, Graduate of Leadership St. Pete and Leadership Tampa Bay, Former Chairman of the Pinellas County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Bill enjoys cooking, sailing, snow skiing, hiking, biking, live music, and talking politics. He has hiked the Inca Trail in Peru, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and spent a month in the Himalayas in Nepal, near Mt. Everest. Prior to moving to Tampa, he owned a bar/restaurant in Ocala for 10 years. Divorced for over 12 years, he is still trying to find someone who can keep up with him.
